Please donate what you are able from the list of following items. We are sending donated items to an amazing orphanage & medical clinic in Haiti called Heart Line Ministries. You can drop supplies off this weekend at Capital Christian Center 2760 E. Fairview Ave, Meridian Idaho, 83669.

Orphan Advocate of the month….

Kate Wilson is our orphan advocate of the month!!! Her heart for Orphans is larger then life. Kate has volunteered much of her time in the past to a local pregnancy center as well as working in Capital Christian Centers children’s ministry. She literally has children following her thru the hallways on Saturdays and Sundays. Every child that knows her knows that she loves them unconditionally and will never judge them but encourage them into there destiny. This love for children is God birthed. Her sphere of influence is great and the thank you’s that she will receive in heaven will be greater. She offers so much to Saving Grace ministry. We love Kate and we believe that her ministry to children will blow minds. Rock Stars have nothing on this girl. She is a rock star to hundreds and hundreds of children!

That is why she is our Orphan advocate of the month.

Eric and I (Kim) had been trying to get pregnant for 5 years, with all the emotions that come with that. We were trusting God would bring us babies in His time and in His way. It was our choice not to pursued fertility treatments. We knew that babies are a miracle no matter how He gave them to us. So one Thursday we got a phone call from our pastor friends in Utah. They said a lady walked into their church last night and said she was pregnant and was going to put her baby up for adoption. And could they help her find someone. So they called us and asked if we would be interested in adopting. We said we were always open to in, but had never pursued it. And we would pray about it. That Sunday was mothers day and I found myself crying my head off because I wasn’t a mommy yet. I figured I’d better at least call this birth mother to see if there was a chance here. I called her Monday night and found out she was due last Thursday and was getting induced on Wednesday. WHAT! It was a boy and the birth father was a Pro-Baseball player. Which was a sign for my husband who also had been a Pro-Baseball player. We talked for an hour that night. The next day we went to work, me the church receptionist and Eric the College Pastor, and asked if I could quit and Eric could have a raise of my entire salary. The pastor agreed and said go get your baby. We hopped on a plain at 2pm. Wemet the birth mom for breakfast Wednesday and all went great. She ended up not getting induced that day but went into labor Thursday morning. I got to be in the delivery room and Eric was right behind the screen in the hall. So from one Thursday to the next I we adopted our baby boy Michael (Mikey) Cameron. We didn’t even have the home study done or anything. The judge let us cross state lines with custody papers and the promise we’d get the home study done asap. It was a miracle.

Our son is 2 1/2yrs old now and we just adopted our second child. A girl. Isabella Sahar, who came to us again miraculously. We got a call, 4 months before she was due, by a friend who had lived in Utah when we adopted Mikey and saw that miracle. Her young cousin had gotten pregnant and knew she was too young to take care of her. Our friend asked if we were interested and got us in contact with the girls mother who helped the adoption come together since her daughter was a minor. It was also a time when we had been waiting for God to bring us a girl and He did. A little background. When my mom knew we were trying to have a baby, the first time, she kept hearing from God on the subject and sharing it with me. Only thing is 5yrs went by without them coming to pass. I told her not to tell me anymore because it was too painful. Well, it turns out everything she had prophesied about came true to the letter. Including the day I talked to the birth mother, God told my mom “today is the day!” My sister even had a dream I would have a baby boy the same age as her son, one week before her son was born. My son is only six weeks younger than hers. And with my adoption happening so fast there was no way for her to knew he was coming when she had the dream. So when the two of them started to have dreams and prophesies about us getting a girl I said tell me everything. I believe!

I love what the psalmist pens in the 113 chapter of Psalms. He zooms out to view big picture, who is like God? Nothing on earth nor in heaven can compare with Him! The culmination of kings, governments & world powers throughout history never have or will touch the fringe of His magnificence! The writer then zooms in. In the grander of God’s glory, HE brings Himself low to rescue the outcast from the ashes. He has several connections, a few friends owe Him a favor. In seconds, the orphan is seated at a table of royalty. I take that back, the orphan becomes royalty. Heaven rejoices and the barren sings!

^4-9 God is higher than anything and anyone,
outshining everything you can see in the skies.
Who can compare with God, our God,
so majestically enthroned,
Surveying his magnificent
heavens and earth?
He picks up the poor from out of the dirt,
rescues the wretched who’ve been thrown out with the trash,
Seats them among the honored guests,

He gives childless couples a family,

We want to say a special thank-you to our panel who shared their individual stories at our adoption/foster care clinic! Each story of adoption and foster care is extremely different and unique. Our stories involved local adoptions to international adoptions, temporary home placements to permanent. Also, we were blessed to hear from a birth mom share about her personal journey of adopting her new born son out to a wonderful family eleven years ago. It’s amazing to see the redemptive acts of God unfold in each story!

Actor Kirk Cameron and his wife, actress Chelsea Noble, may have welcomed their four oldest children — Jack, 11, Isabella, 10, Anna, 9, and Luke, 7 — by adoption, but the 37-year-old makes it a point to tell his children how much they were wanted.

Adoption is so special. My adopted kids know that they’re in our family because we wanted them to be in our family. We chose them. That’s something special that every adopted child can know. They didn’t have to be adopted by their parents. They really wanted them.

They’re just my kids. Literally, I forget who’s adopted and who’s not. It really doesn’t seem like that. They’re my kids, I’m their dad and Chelsea’s their mom. It’s just a great, wonderful way to not only have a family yourself but meet a real need in the lives of so many of these orphans.

Kirk and Chelsea are also parents to Olivia, 6, and James, 5, and with six kids in one household, there is always a lot going on.

My son Jack is 11, and he’s into music and Legos. My daughters are into ballet and singing. My littlest one, she wants to be a farmer. She wants to be Fern from Charlotte’s Web. She’d like to have a cow and a goat and a goose and a rat and a spider. And my other little guys, they love racecars and power tools and catching lizards.
